For this exercise, you will need a candle and a way to light it. White symbolizes peace, but any color you are drawn to will work.
Spend a few minutes grounding yourself. Breathe deeply and connect with your body. Envision any stress sliding off and flowing into the earth. When you are ready, set your intentions for love, healing, and peace. Light your candle and say:
“We light these flames with pure intentions and open hearts. May our flames dispel darkness and connect us to the earth and to one another. We are grounded, we are present, we are love and healing for those who need it. Peace flows outward, strong and steady, into every corner of the world.”
Let your candle burn for a few more minutes then gently blow it out. Close our grounding activity by saying:
“I have gratitude for the peace, love, and healing I carry into my life and into the world around me”.
